Mill Farm, Dornoch, is very much a working farm and family home, located only two miles away from the historic county town of Dornoch. Mill Farm sits in its own 50 acres of land and gardens where you will be guaranteed a relaxing stay.
We have mountain, estuary, woodland and of course farmland views. Guests are invited to treat their time at Mill Farm as an extension of their own home and are welcomed to take a walk around the farm, meet the animals, or relax in our new summer house.
On your arrival you'll find plenty of parking space as well as lots of space around the farm. A perfect bed & breakfast base for a short break, "getaway" weekend or special occasion, exploring this romantic part of northern Scotland.
Our summer house is a unique and newly built addition to our facilities. It is perfect for an afternoon cup of tea, or a relaxing evening drink on the veranda whilst taking in the views of the Dornoch Firth to the South and the Struie Mountains to the West.
Why not bring the children? Our gardens have a variety of play activities including a trampoline, tyre swings and a multi play centre.
Mill Farm is a great base from which to explore this historic and beautiful part of the North East coast of Scotland. Perfect for a short break, a “get away” weekend, or a special occasion. We have a lengthy private track with easy access to the A9 road, and so we are ideally located as a stop-over en route to and from Orkney, or as the first or last stage of an “end to end” trip; ( John O Groats to Lands end, or Lands end to John O Groats). We are only 82 miles from John O Groats.

Our house is non - smoking. Although we do not have an alcohol licence, guests are welcome to bring their own to enjoy.

At the far end of the farm we have a small 5 pitch Caravan Club Certificated Location Caravan Site. So, if you are planning a get together with family and friends, caravanning and B and B can be combined for different members of your party.
